Western Economic Diversification (WD) will be hosting two teleconferences during the week of Jan 23-27 due to high interest in information sessions for the upcoming Western Diversification Program (WDP) Call for Proposals (CFP). One teleconference will be in French (Monday, Jan 23, 1:30pm) and the other will be in English (Tuesday, Jan 24, 1:30pm). To register for a teleconference, and for further information on the WDP CFP, please visit the WDP webpage.
The WDP-CFP will open on Wednesday, January 25 and will close on Thursday, February 23 at 1:00pm Pacific time.
BCIT has been successful with WD applications in the past. Contributions from WD are made to projects that support the development and diversification of the western Canadian economy, and activities where economic and/or employment benefits accrue primarily within Western Canada. Applications received under the WDP-CFP process in this round must directly support one (or more) of the following WD Strategic Priorities:
- Clean technology; and/or
- Indigenous economic growth (IEG).
Further information on the CFP is available on the website.
